Draft — not legal advice

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 27, 2026

1. Overview

This policy describes how Developer Work OS (“we”) collects and uses information when you use our website and application. This is a draft summary intended for early users and should be reviewed by counsel before production reliance.

2. Information we collect

  • Account data: email, display name, authentication identifiers.
  • Workspace content: projects, work items, docs, decisions, goals, reviews, and related metadata you create.
  • Integration data: GitHub tokens and repository metadata when you connect GitHub; MCP/OAuth consent when you authorize external AI clients.
  • Usage data: plan limits, AI run counts, and product analytics needed to operate the Service.

3. How we use information

We use data to provide authentication, store and sync your workspaces, enforce plan entitlements, power AI features you request, operate GitHub and MCP integrations, and improve reliability and security.

4. Processors

We use infrastructure providers to run the Service, including database/auth hosting (Supabase) and AI model providers for features you invoke. Content you send to AI features is processed to fulfill your request subject to those providers’ terms.

5. GitHub & MCP credentials

Personal access tokens and OAuth grants are stored securely and used only for the integrations you enable. You can disconnect integrations from settings. Revoking access in GitHub or your AI client also limits further sync.

6. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share data with service providers under contract, when required by law, or to protect the Service and its users.

7. Retention & security

We retain account and workspace data while your account is active and as needed for backups, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. We apply industry-standard safeguards; no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your choices

You may update profile information, disconnect integrations, or request account deletion through product support channels once available. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights regarding access, correction, or deletion.

9. Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
